Gr15 raider shorty or WELL L96?

I like the look of both guns but can't decide on which one to get.
The Gr15 as far as I know requires much more maintenance and the BB and battery usage will also be affect my decision as the BB usage will more than likely be more than the L96.
While the WELL has far less parts, is easily maintainable and the BB usage is less and hence overall cost will be less.
It's actually a choice of which one to get first. At the moment I'm leaning towards the WELL as I have a broken dboys M4 that I want to fiddle with and see if I can fix. (Irrelevant but I took the whole thing apart and put it back together for the first time:D,but It still doesn't work).

I have about two or three weeks to decide so I thought I'd get some experienced opinions as most users on here know more than I do and may shed to light some things I don't know 'bout these guns.

    Any info will help, Thanks!

Two totally different platforms all together, they depend on your playing style.

Well, I like both the more aggressive fast paced play style, the M4 and the more patient one being the L96.

Then get what you want, or use the money to have your M4 repaired and upgraded.

The thing is it's not my money it's my mums as In my username 1994, I'm only sixteen. Which is why I have to be really careful with any money I have and what I spend it on.

Wow, a 16 year old who's careful with money? That's strange.
It really boils down to what you feel you want the most. I'd say get the Raider and save up for a Well L96 or get one second hand through adverts.

Sounds to me that the DMR role might suite you down to the ground,,,why not go after the long Raider and work towards turning it in to a DMR platform.

Hmm, I know exactly how you feel being both young and needing money, but I would upgrade the m4, the wide range of internals and externals can let you turn it into a real beast of a gun. I myself plan on getting a new lower receiver for mine, the REC7 Barrett one, it looks quite good and is supposed to perform excellently.

But ultimately it is your decision what you do with the money.I wish my mother would buy me airsoft stuff.

Sorry, But whats DMR? Designated Marksman Something?

    Designated Marksman Rifle!

As Lefty said these are two very different guns and its really down to your play style. So its really up to yourself.

If this will be your fist bolt action rifle I would suggest before you buy either gun play an entire days game only using single shot and being careful with those shots. If you enjoy it then get the L96. But if you get bored or frustrated then I'd suggest getting the Gr15 (or getting your M4 repaired and upgraded).
