Right, wondering where I could get my hands on some decorative bullets. I have space on my rifle cheek rest for a few CO2 cartriges, but I think a 5.56x45mm dummy rounds would look class their.

If anyone knows of where I could get my hands on them, I would really appreciate it.

Depends how many you want, you can get belts of 5.56 or 7.62. Individual inert rounds are most likely cheaper though.

I'd be wary of getting anything that looks like a bullet shipped over but mia and a few other retailers in Ireland do the dummy round belts for the m249, not sure if you can take the rounds off the belt.

Behold the price tag and weep:

Ya can buy em in army bargains aswell, although he doesn't even have the common decency to wear a mask when he robs ya.

Salute is another place you'll get em but it'll be a few months off.

I think I'll stck to thermos stuff here. Seems the cheapest.

Would check out army bargains, but heard some very mixed reviews of that place.

If anyone has any other suggestions, would love to hear them

Some of the "dummy" bullets are s**te and a waste of money.
Inert rounds look best. I like Reassembled fired rounds, just make sure the primer (firing cap) is spent (dented by the firing pin). These are the ones usually on sale at Salute or surplus shops.
    I don't have any 5.56mm at present.

Spent rounds should look like this:

I'd preferably be looking for the actual rounds, with the tips still in them, but if you find one, givus a look and I'll see.

And thanks thermo, i forgot that thing was on. I'll probably head down and have a drool look and see whats on offer.

    Thanks
