N97 lock code help

    I bought a n97 from adverts.ie advertised as unlocked.
    When it arrived and i turned it on a lock code came up.
    I tryed the 12345 and it didnt work.
    This comes up whenever the sim card is in or out can someone help please

    It would be on the phone.

    There is also another feature which requests a code when a new SIM is put into the phone. Either way the person who sold it to you should have the code.

    I dont think this will remove it on the n97, but worth a go. Reset, by pressing shift, space bar, delete button, and the power on button together for 5 seconds. The phone will restart and reset.

    If not the code can be removed for you. Normally cost about €20 in a shop
