why CO2 difference in UK VW TDI vs Irish TDI?

    thinking of changing motor and was interested in VW golf 2.0L TDI DSG highline. It is listed in Ireland as 138 CO2 band B. Looking at 2.0L TDI DSG SE or GT on VW.co.uk there are listed as 142 CO2 making them band C and a higher VRT bracket. I am assuming these are the same models and if so how can I get the UK vw golf into band b if i import?
