Hi,

Just looking for some advice. I was asked to play at a 30th recently. It's a private party in a house, but the person who asked said they'd pay me if I played. Just wondering is there a standard fee for this sort of thing? It would probably be a couple of hours of covers - just myself singing and playing acoustic guitar.

If you're doing a proper set like 2hrs or more than 200 would be the job i reckon. But if its a close friends, maybe charge 100? And if you do a real good job they might look after ya a bit more.
