What's happened to the Geman national channels on Astra 19.0 E?

Probably not noticed by many people here, but all of these channels used to FTA on Astra 19E, channels like Das Erste, ARD, ZDF, WDR, RBB Berlin etc.

Now ARD and ZDF are still FTA on Hotbird.

I went to Lyngsat and noticed that instead of F in the Encrytion column they have PAL, also they no longer give the frequencey like 22,000, or the polarisation H or V.

So can someone maybe explain what has happened here?

No good for me. Forgot to mention in original post that I have a "favourite list" with just the German channles on Astra 19E. All the private channels still work, like Sat 1, RTL, etc but none of the National channels like ARD,ZDF etc.

You could try going through the existing channel list (not favourite list) and check if the holders for ZDF etc show a picture. If not, delete the blank channels and then do manual transponder scans to update e.g 11953, H, 27500

It was down to a badly focussed LNB, so I have it right now.
What had me confused was that it was only the German national channels that were missing while all the comercial channels were O.K.
