Where do I begin. (im a man)

I'm newly single and generally hopeless. :D

Would i be better off kidnapping a female friend (i think has taste) and dragging her round the shops or seeking professional help.

What are my options like its not something men really discuss.

Well what age are you? What kind of clothes do you like? What type of look are
    you trying to achieve?

I think a female friend would be good but it has to be a look your comfortable
    with.

The issue is more that im too comfortable than anything else and dress a little/a fair bit older than i should.

To be honest i want a change and not exactly sure where to start.

Shushhhhhh, theres a few of us men in here but it's very very sekret!

Women dress women and men dress men*. You'll be much better looking around at fashion blogs for men, deciding what type of look you want to achieve and then asking for advice on that look. Go with European or metropolitin blogs rather then shop blogs. Don't end up looking like a Topman manniquen. Remember, the blogs are only for ideas, pointers, directions. Don't be a slave to them or try to follow them to the letter.

Lots of men in here talking on a regular basis on fashions and styles. Between us we have all styles covered from casual to formal, from sharp to laid back.

    Release your inner Fashionista!

*Don't tell Mrs Goat I said that or she'll never carry my shopping bags again. :o

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Read through the GQ Style Shrink section, there may be some pointers in there too?

What do you wear at the moment and what appeals to you for the future?
Do you always see yourself as a jeans & t-shirt wearer? Are you looking to step out of that bracket and into something else?
    Chinos and a blazer man?
Are you looking to dress up for occasional nights out or is your new image to be for everyday wear?

Give us something to work with. :)
