Exam help with types of advertising!

I'm a marketing student without DePelsmacker book! I'm trying to write out model answers in preparation for exams.
Somehow I'm not finding many decent notes on different types of advertising i.e. brand, b2b and direct response along with advantages and disadvantages.
The lecturer also said to make sure you're able to distinguish those types of advertising on the basis of the four criteria (sender, message, receiver and media) She said those types of advertising could all be analysed under these headings.
Endless to say I'm still a bit unclear!
