i buy the spongy rubber balls in the 2eur stores for a euro each. They fit into the thrower thing and all dogs love them.

Dunnes have lovely stuff for dogs at the moment too.
Little packs with toys and bowls and stuff for 6 or 8 euro.

Hi Basq, that looks interesting! Where abouts did you find it, near the dog food etc. or household stuff?

My local Tesco (Sligo) has a area with various over-priced dogs (€22 for a bog standard dog lead) bits and pieces at the end of the aisle with kitchen rolls and stuff.

But I did find that in there last weekend.

The number of times I've seen both dog and owner having a great time with these is incredible, fantastic idea for the beach or park :)

    It is what it's.

My dog is more fascinated with the plastic claw than the ball! :D

It's not the same as the one in the photo (ChuckIt).. think it was a Tesco own brand.

Not the best quality tennis ball with it to be honest though.. the outer fur was starting to peel off after a few minutes with the dog.. and he's hardly a brute:

(old photo.. but he hasn't increased in size much)

Got one of those throwers a couple of weeks ago in Tesco for 76c too. They also had melamine bowls for about €1, mats to put under bowls for 36c, big plastic dog bed for €8 or so and a few other things that I can't recall! More than likely gone though. Love your dog basquille:):) Might as well post mine too:cool:

Your dog is the spit of my fella! Same ID tag and all lol!

I started using one of those toss things recently and the dog runs ninety after the tennis ball. I dunno about your dog but my fella rips them apart in seconds

Thanks OP those toys are decent and cheap also for strong ones.

They had loads of doggie things in Mahon Point earlier. Frisbies, 6 tennis balls, leads, dog towels, bowls, squeaky flamingo(!), lint remover, blankets, frog bouncy ball(with arms and legs-even the boys loved this:))all for approx €1 each (don't have receipt to hand, but most were 80c to €1 except the lead which was about €1.30) Well worth heading out.

Frog ball! I'm only sorry I just got the one:D
