Would llove the novelty of this:) Has anyone tried it? I found a few apps but none acted like a mixer from what I can tell. dJay remote looks ok cept ir uses its own app thats another 50USD.

What I want is something is that sends Midi over802.1 that I can map to the base functions of my DJ software(deckadance).

    Any ideas? Thanks,
    Lethal

I bought Cue play DJ mainly just to mess about when I'm on the bus and stuff. You download the app, then an application to your laptop/computer thats connected to the same wifi connection. It has a 2 second delay which is to be expected. I haven't hooked it up over wifi yet haven't been home to do it, but the idea seems good to me.

Can't be arsed trekking through it all but I'm 100% that CDM have covered this before. Might use OSC or something funky, but it's there allright. Go have a gander through the archives

Just a little update. Can get ITM DJ to connect to my lappy but as of yet the MIDI data isnt coming through. Really frustrating as it seems so promising and online reviews put it in a great light...

With windows they suggest MIDI Yoke which is old[for XP] and discontinued. Anyone have a suggestion for an alternate "MIDI Driver" in order to route the data through?

    Have it in flight mode.

Even the MBP route isn't foolproof. As deadmau5 has up on his fbook
#1 evil ****ing thing to do to laptop DJ's... yup. bring your apple remote to a gig... maybe even an IR booster... chances are they didnt turn off the remote **** on their mac... launch itunes / media center at will... then check out his face when Brokeback Mountain pops up in front of his serato and starts playin. :)
