I'm going away the week after exams to travel around the Balkans a bit; flying to Istanbul and then flying home from Budapest a few weeks later. :)

And then in August, provided that exams all go according to plan and I don't have to repeat anything, Erasmus! :)

The day after my last exam heading off to paris with my dad for the Heineken cup final. Then two weeks later doing Munich to Budapest with a possible international UCC boards meetup with nova :p

Pretty much decided on a house to move out to over the summer with someone i was living with last summer.

Going to make this an enjoyable summer either way!

Oh yeah, forgot you were going to Budapest! I'll be there on the 23rd for a night I think; my mate is after moving back to Zagreb so I'm going there for a few nights instead of going straight to Budapest. :)

I'm not totally sure and haven't planned anything. Will sleep for a long bit and don't want to know study or anything associated with it for a few weeks. :)

I'm gonna do what I did last summer and the summer before that; hibernate for 3 and a half months.

Well I'm representing UCC at the London International Youth Science Forum, which is for two weeks in late July/early August. That should be good.

Other than that I'm planning to do a lot of reading!! :pac:

My plan at the moment consists of celebrating the end of my exams, then spending the rest of the summer looking for stuff to do.

I'm going to Hellfest; a metal festival in France! :D

Then after that I hope I can get a summer job because if not I'll be stuck in a teeny village in Tipperary with shíte internet and nothing to do all summer. :(

Well if we're including festivals in this... In August I'm off to Sonisphere Sweden, Sziget in Hungary, and Iron Maiden shows in Valencia and Italy. I'm relying on 21st birthday generated income to get me through that little jaunt. :(

Well after the obligatory celebrations on the last day and after pulling myself together after it, it looks like I have a summer filled with music. Gonna really get back into playing guitar regularly again, start music theory again and actually put my degree to some use and design my own guitar pedals. Then have a couple of concerts to go to in June, Rage Against the Machine, Megadeth and hopefully see Slash or Iron Maiden. Have to look for a job as well to try and support myself, but hopefully i'll get a few weeks work with the auld fella like every other summer.

You gonna see Maiden in Dublin as well?

I'm going to head to Boston for a few days after exams and then back home thus ending my American odyssey!

Straight away after the exams Ill be starting my 2 week placement for my Post-Grad. Summer will be spent hacking through the extensive reading list they sent me. Heading to Italy for 2 weeks in June (Rome for 4 days then the Tuscany region for the rest). Will try and work as many hours as possible in my 2 jobs to get a bit of money together for the Post-Grad, and hopefully in September Ill be moving to London for it, pending results! September is when the adventure really starts for me!

I'm toying with heading to America in October with a mate to catch a football game. Won't be 'till October. Worth it to head over there?

Its definately worth going over. I presume you will be heading to Boston. From my lurking on the American Football forum i see you are a Pats fan:p I've never been to an NFL game myself but the atmosphere at the college games i went to were crazy. Of course it helped that the Bearcats were doing so well

This is the first summer where I'm unemployed so I'm going to:

    • Head home and look for a job after failing to find one in Cork
    • Fail to land a decent job at home in Killarney
    • Go out of my mind at home
    • Turn to drink until my results come out
    • Study for the repeats...when sober :(

Move back home for the summer (the first time since I started college so that will be weird) and catch up on my sleep. Play through Pokémon Heart Gold. Read loads and loads of books. Learn how to program in Java. Generally just relax

Going back home and working for the summer! I'm going to miss Cork :(
Plan is to go to Copenhagen and Amsterdam for a weekend at some stage. Possibly London... and just general fun!

I'm a Patriots fan alright. :) My mate's looking to go to Pittsburgh, he's a Steeler and they're playing the Patriots so am interested. It won't be 'till October though but I'll save in the Summer etc. Aye the college games are always insane!

I got a job in Cork for the summer so I'll be working out in Blackpool. Heading to England a few times over the summer to see family and then to Tenerife for 10 days :) Hopefully repeats will not be coming into the equation this summer, it destroyed any fun I could have had last summer! Also planning a few roadtrips with my friends including 32 counties in 24 hours! I'm really looking forward to the summer this year!

Have you tried Abtron? It's an inbound call centre. I worked there last summer and they're hiring 300 new staff now. They love BIS people too!

I was actually thinking about this. Sounds pretty good. How it'll work is slightly beyond me though!

I'll be down in Kerry for most of the summer, unless I'm working in the Cul Camps! They can be serious fun!

Love KnifeWrenchs idea of just hibernating..might do that for a month

Cheers for that man - nothing about that advertised by the BIS dept. atall unsuprisingly and didn't get any mention of it in my RecruitIreland job alerts!

Really desperate to stay in Cork this summer - I'll go nuts at home!
