Paddy Power Handicap Bet

Put a bet on Blackburn last August with a handicap of +40 points, when they bet Arsenal last week the bet should have came through but still said pending so I thought they were just waiting on the season to end.

So Blackburn bet Villa on Sunday finishing on 50 points with the handicap giving them 90 points with Chelsea being champions on 86. Checked my pp a/c yesterday and the bet was saying lose! So contacted them and was told they would look into it, thought it wjust be a simple correction and would get the money but as of late last night no contact from them and a/c balance is still the same.

Any ideas whats going on? will they just pay out eventually or is there something I'm missing?

I didn't see the handicap points market at the start of the season, but I would imagine that Birmingham for example would have received more points than Blackburn say +55 and so they finish ahead of Blackburn and so your bet is a loser unfortunately. That's my understanding of the way it works even though I have never bet on it.

its not a match bet is a league table so it is not simply blackburn to beat chelsea who i think were +2 start of the season but all teams. for most the season they were showing the table online but not sure if they still are.
