As the title says, which one is better and easier to use? I have 3 point sling myself and i don't find it very useful, especially that it's not really comfortable to shoot with my left hand because of the eling hanging on the left side of the gun. But i've never used 1 point sling. has anybody any good stuff to say about them?

Agree with Andy. One point slings work well with Armalites and most assault rifles and SMGs. I prefer two point slings on bullpup rifles though, like the AUG, L85 etc.

seen one point slings on bullpups and they look naff or in the case of an aug they almost touch the ground

I have a Warrior 1 point sling for my M4. Love it, great maneuverability, very sturdy (dont think my guns gonna fall any time soon) and its pretty comfortable overall.

Would not recommend for and AUG or that sort of AEG. Sits way to low down, its very hard to get into an effective firing position and you also run the risk of damaging your barrel and gun should it smash off the ground a rock or tree.

I swear by 1 point slings myself. Unless I'm throwing a shotgun across my back., then I'll use a 2 point. I have a 3 point sling and I find it ****e.

1-point slings are good if your sling attachment point is in front of the stock, so at the back of the receiver or thereabouts - if it's at the back of the stock the gun hangs much too low.

Mostly the answer depends on the type of game you're going to be playing mostly. I generally play milsim, where you might have some distance to go without contact, and objectives to complete that aren't just machine-gunning people. Therefore, I found a 2-point sling useful because it makes carrying the gun more comfortable, and when going into combat I'd just unsling it altogether.

If you prefer paintball-style skirmishy-brap-braps, then a sling is more for somewhere to put your gun between games without it going on the ground, you're going to be shooting almost the whole time, and don't need to stow your gun to do other stuff during play, then a 1-point is more suitable.

I recently switched to an SA-80 3-point sling though and am quite impressed.

Nonamigo - I use a galil as well and I use a single point bungee sling connected to the sling loop immediately forward of where the stock folds. I use a nylon loop fastener (the type you get on the connect points of most decent 3 point slings) around the sling loop to stop the metallic noise of the metal grip on the bungee sling against the metal sling loop on the galil - but that's just a personal choice.
With the single point sling attached to the sling loop the aeg hangs nicely when not in use - I have the full length Galil AR so I keep the sling pretty tight with just enough slack to allow me to shoulder it - and it's perfect.

I'm with Puding on this, the MS2 is a great sling.

Very very sturdy and you have the benefit of 2 and 1 points.
I've been using one for a while now and you can easily transition between primary and secondary.

All in all it's well worth it.
