Funny noise

I've noticed there's a funny noise comming from my iphone 3g, it's like the noise you get when you put a phone next to a speaker. Anyone come across this and is there a way to stop it in the settings cause it's really annoying especially when I'm on a call. Thanks in advance.

Same thing happened mine just after the warranty ran out. Seems to be a common fault. If your iphone is still under warranty send it back to apple cause it only gets worse!!

wont be a setting you can change ('disable annoying noise'), physical fault with the phone and will need to be repaired/replaced I'd say
