    i have a giant terrago v-brake the frame has no hooks on it for putting on disc brakes i was told you could get a conversion kit
    any body know any thing about this

    all help is apreciated:D:D:D:D:D

    You can get a new fork and put disc brakes on that.

    There are conversion kits which can mount on the rear v-brake mount, stretch down to the back of the bike and let you attach a disc brake. However, they are expensive, you would be better off just buying a new frame.

    You can get a decent frame for fairly cheap, around 150 quid or so. Or cheaper if you look around for second hand. If you are 5'8" or so, I might be offloading mine soon.

    You'll be grand with V's on the rear but it'd be well worth the upgrade on the front.
