Setting up MacBook to share internet with Huaweii E122 Modem

    I'm trying to set up my MacBook running OSX 10.5.8 to share internet so I can play my Wii & XBox online usin a Huaweii 3g dongle. I've heard that this is possible but when I plug in the modem I get a message saying

    "You cannot start internet sharing because there are no ports available over which to share your connection. Choose a different connection to share or …

    Share your Connection from: (dropdown menu thats greyed out) Huaweii Mobile

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
