Suns & Lovers-

Sunday May 23rd 4pm till 12am. house,disco,Balearic,funk,soul with residents Phil Long, Dave H, Mark Murphy, Ste Downes and friends.

We will be hosting a little Sunday party called Suns & Lovers. This is a party where we will get to break out all our favorite Sunday records and invite some amazing guest jocks to come and spin. The focus will be on house music late on in the evening and a more eclectic vibe early on. We want to take in funk, soul, balearic and disco, with the occasional live band, before smoothly bringing it in to deep and grooving house for the night.

On May 23rd we have a 3 hour Balearic/disco/boogie set from the one and only Mark Alton-4pm till 7pm. Catch ''the nicest bloke in Dublin dance music'' with his epic record collection before he hops the boat to London. After Mark we hand over the reins to our residents and Sam Kay (SALT at The T.P) to take us in to the night.

Although Suns & Lovers will be holding a party once every fortnight, from May 23rd, at Smithfield`s rather lovely Space 54 arts workshop (which will be BYOB), we will also be doing some one off gigs in interesting, unused locations around the city.
