As an alternative, I would recommend this bargain 32" TV for €299.99

(Walker 32" LCD TV at Power City)

Thanks. I see it says "Less Trade In", so I'm assuming you have to give them your old TV to get the reduced price?

will have details on the tv in tesco later on because i am going down to look at it soon!
the last time i was down there i asked one of the staff are any of them buying them and she said 4 or 5 of them have so that probably suggests its a good deal!

Apparently, yeah! It used to be €299.99 straight off the shelf, no trade-in required. Sorry about that.

Its definately 26" toshiba, says €100 off rrp. didn't take note of model number.

    The model number is 26AV615DB.

    Review: http://www.trustedreviews.com/tvs/review/2009/06/22/Toshiba-Regza-26AV615DB-26in-LCD-TV/p1

A quick search indicated that ebuyer at £250 was cheapest of the British suppliers who delivered to Ireland so €289 would seem to be a good price for this TV.

i ended up buying one of these tvs it was 289 euro its 26" toshiba with hdmi, vga, scart and aerial connection(cant reme, ber what its called) its a really good tv and it has freeview but i am not using that. its definitely good quality and great picture and sound. if your looking for a tv i would definitely recommend this. staff said there was only 6-7 left but because they sold well they might be ordering in more so just ask them when you go down or give them a ring. hope this helps
