What woud be the cost for just getting a percolatin test carried out. I'm in the Athlone area. Are there many people out there that would be willing to just do the test and nothing else?

They cost €500- €600 + VAT in Cork.
That dosen't include machine, etc though.

You can get a list of approved assessors on your coco website.

Its about 450 to 550 in donegal vat included. Ring around and price a few in your area i wouldnt say they are overly busy at the minute.

If you only want to see if your site is likely to pass the tests then you could do it yourself. But you will prob need a professional to do the test and report for planning.

Its around 550 in Mayo for the test, I always have them done first using a guy who only does site assessments and if theres a fail then we move on to another site.

Wicklow area - cost 320 including the digger. Very satisfied.

€320 including digger is ridiculously cheap.
Was the test done recently? Ae you sure it was to the new code of practice?

The site assesment alone should take the bones of a day to complete excluding the paperwork.

320 was the cost. Completed all the paperwork and has been submitted for Planning Permission a few weeks ago. Waiting for Co Co response but nothing negative on this matter yet.
