    Hi, I have a little samsung D75 digital camera. My problem is it did not come with a memory card, in fact I never realised there was such a thing:rolleyes:..it only takes a few pics without the card and since I have a kid's Confirmation coming up this week I really should get a card.
    Does anyone know if a 2GB SanDisk MicroSD memory card that Argos sells would be ok?
    The manual just says" SD memory stick" is required..nothing else. The camera is 7.2 MEGA pixel...whatever that means!
    I have only small income , no car and Argos is nearby.
    Help as Confirmation is on thurs:confused:

    Hiya, that camera takes a standard SD card.
    If you're heading to Argos, here's the one you need link

    You'll get 2 cards for the price of one (TwinPack)

    You do want to be a bit careful.. From what you've quoted from the manual, you do *NOT* want an SD HC... the camera won't know how to use it, more likely than not.

    Look for one that just says SD, and does not have HC on it. (This limits you to 4G and under.. and a lot of 2 and 4 gig cards will be HC.

    The cards that tonto pointed out should be fine for you and will work a treat I'd imagine. Plus its a twin pack, so if one cards dies or goes corrupt or gets lost, etc. you have a spare, or if you find you rarely fill 2GB up, you can sell one :)

    If you're unsure, you can bring the camera to Argos and they should be able to tell you what you need.

    7.2 MegaPixel relates to how big your photographs will be. Using the chart found at this link;

    http://www.bythom.com/printsizes.htm

    You should get a decent 8" by 10" photo if you decide to print (though most people will rarely ever go above the standard 6x4, so you should be fine in that respect, too.

    Best of luck with the Confirmation on Thursday :)

    Hi , thank you so much for that info..due to illness I never got a chance to collect the memory card from argos but used other peoples' cameras instead on the day.
    However at least I will have the right one for the next big occasion!

    Thanks a mil
