Cost of living

Hello there! This is my first post at boards.ie, and I'm sorry if this is the wrong place.

I've been recently reassigned to live in Ireland (been there last week, lovely country I must say)

I've been checking the taxes and the cost of living. I'm moving to Athlone.

It's just me and my wife, we have no children, and at least for the first months, I'll be the only one working.

I wonder how much would be the average cost of living, including accommodation, groceries expenses, electricity and heating, health plans.

I know this is a hard question, since it depends on a lot of things. I've seen that rentals are between 500-700 Euros, and from that how much should I expect to expend on food, electricity, internet/tv, gas, etc.

    Kind regards
