    Hello

I’m looking for budget laptop for everyday use (internet browsing, Word, online TV). Also from time to time I need to edit AVCHD video file from my Sony TG3 camcorder.

My understanding is that for video editing I would need Intel i3-i5 processor but they drive price higher than my budget of 700eur.

    Now trying to choose between
    a) TOSHIBA Satellite L500-1XD (Core i3 330M 2,13 GHz, 4096 DDR3 Mo, 320 Gb) for 545 eur
    and
    b) Dell Studio 15 i5-520M (2.4GHz, 4 Threads, turbo Boost up to 2.93GHz, 3MB cache) 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD5470 Graphics Card 4096MB 1333MHz Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM [2x2048] , HDD 500GB – slightly over budget at 759 eur

Any advise or other ideas? Battery life is not important, HDD must be at least 300G, RAM at least 3G.

What websites would you recommend? I’ve tried pixmania, amazon, ebuyer, komplett, dell.

    Thanks

If it were me I'd go for the Studio 15, have heard good things about them and the dedicated graphics card and better processor would be a big plus to me.
Oh and websites, you've prettymuch seen em all! elara.ie might be worth a look, and dabs.ie, but other than that I haven't been able to find any great websites myself, Irish or European... (also it seems komplett are having some difficulties atm (check their forum on here), just something to keep in mind).
