I don't have one myself but I believe you'll have to use a UK post code in your setup, ITV1 HD is only available to English viewers at the moment via freesat.

It is also available to Welsh and Scottish border viewers.

If you go to 977 (ITV London) you should be able to get it through the Red Button.

Otherwise, change box to an English postcode, you'll have a different ITV region at 103 but you can still have BBC 1 & 2 NI at 101 and 102.

Or if you prefer to have your EPG with UTV at 103 you can add it to your Other Channels menu and access it that way. It might be best to have it on the EPG though as then it can be recorded from so even non-HD stuff looks a damn sight better than standard ITV 1 on 103.

There is no "Other Channels menu" on the Humax. The OP can add ITV HD in non-Freesat mode and watch it through switching to that but, to be honest, that's a bit of a pain.

Change your postcode to an english or welsh postcode and you will get it in freesat mode aswell as non freesat mode

That's basically what I meant, but I wasn't aware of what it's called on a Humax. :D It is a pain, but it all depends on what the OP prefers, and what channels they want in the guide.

If you prefer a non London postcode - pick the UK area you would like, and then google for large shops in a city in that area e.g. Argos Manchester or Currys Cardiff and use a post code from their address. I think with any English postcode you can select the London region as your default channel - I have BBC South but ITV London from a Southampton postcode.

The latest EPG ver "9.10.13a" on the Samsung Sky HD boxes have ITVHD on the EPG. Wonder if it will happen here ?

No it wont happen here, not for a long time.

ITV1 HD is on the Sky HD EPG of all Sky HD boxes if you have a viewing card for England, Wales or the border region of Scotland.

Unless you are from the North and want to watch their news and regional programmes you are better off with an english postcode. There are often extra NI only programmes on BBC1 NI which mean that programmes start later at night on BBC 1 NI compared with other regions. Means you don't have to stay up so late.

Another plus (pardon the pun) of this setup is that you can occasionally use BBC NI as a sort of BBC1+1 channel at night. If you miss the start of something on a BBC 1 England region you can go to Ch 957 to see if it starts later on BBC NI.
