    Hi All,
Looking for some advice on good, compact stage monitors. Willing to spend some decent cash on these so any advice is welcome regardless of price.

Take your pick tbh. 12" wedges are generally more suited to Vocal mixes, 15" for keys and bass.

Remember if you go passive, you need an amplifier per pair of wedges. To do it really properly for a live band you need a desk that has more than 4 aux sends, plus a pair of amps and 4 wedges for a basic 4-way mix. Add in a pair of Graphic EQ's because wedge monitoring is feedback territory.

If you go active, you just buy as needed, so that might work better for you depending on what your end goal is.

In any case, there's loads of choice, deciding on one is tricky. You might want something that matches your FOH rig or that can be broken down into a smaller rig if ever needed.
