Results from the clonliffe 2 mile yesterday

    http://www.clonliffeharriers.com/

Would wonder why they refused to accept that the 3rd place finisher was not an affiliated AAI club runner, this excluded a perfectly valid team who would have won the Mens team competition, knocking the hosts to second.

He's not listed in the results as being in a club. Do you know what details he had on his registration form?

Seems he wrote the club name on the wrong line, but it was on the form. Wore the singlet on during the race, and the issue was raised before the results were announced so some allowance could have been made. Seems very harsh.

Well no the name wasn't on the form that was the problem.

The race organizers knew that Sportsworld had come third but wouldn't allow it because the team had not been declared at registration but the Sportsworld team were under the impression they had registered the team.

Can see it from both sides as the prizes had already been handed over but the results could have been adjusted.
