    Division 9

    Leinster 6 v Phoenix 4

Leinster won by 9 or 10 runs. Leinster batted first and made 181.

Saw some fantastic batting by a 12-year old from Phoenix in that match. That kid has the potential to be very good.

    Terenure 3 v Pembroke 5 - Terenure 3 148 all out off 38 overs (M Hoey 38, M Wedick 28, M Seward 26). Pembroke 5 147-8 off 40 overs. Terenure 3 beat Pembroke 5 by one run

Should Pembroke not have had another 2 overs to score their runs? I thought unused overs carried over to the opposition?

Also anyone know the story with what happened with Trinity?

    Dundrum 2 beat Laois 3

you only get unstarted overs back but that probably means they should have had 1 more rather than 2, but they should have had more.

One of ours that haven't been mentioned

    Division 3 - Civil Service 1 166ao, 44.2 ovs (K Webster 30, R Kenealy 3-24, P Byrne 3-21). Leinster 168-8, 46. 2ovs (D Lucas 58, J Nagle 32)

Two crackers with the Trinity/Malahide abandoned match, and the Pembroke not getting the extra over one. Can it not be posted why the Trinity match was terminated?

I'm not sure there's much of an excuse for the Pembroke mistake. Even without official umpires, is it not possible for at least someone to have a copy of the regs on their phone (or printed out)?

TheDrog was kind enough to PM me about this very question. As the match will probably be the subject of a Leinster Cricket Union Disciplinary hearing, I think it would be best if it wasn't discussed here for now.

Once the hearing happens, or a decision is otherwise made, we can review this, subject to Boards' usual rules re sensible discussion.

Please PM me if you wish to discuss this further.

As someone who played in the above mentioned game i can assure you pembroke did get 42 overs to chase down the 149 required to win. Even with the 2 extra overs, due to some fantastic bowling and tight feilding they were unable to do so, finishing with 8 wkts down
