    i have a 08 ford focus 1.6tdci its making a rubbing noise sometimes when im letting out the clutch what could the problem be

    Unlikey as DMFs are regarded as consumables(even though single mass flywheels always lasted the lifetime of the car), plus the clutch must be changed as well, you're looking at a 1,500+ bill if it goes to a main dealer, probably a good bit under that at an indy but it's going to be expensive either way.

    If it's any consolation, all modern diesels with manual gearboxes have these and you're just as likely to have this problem with any other make of diesel, it's far from something exclusive to a Ford I'm afraid.

    i only bought the car a week ago from a small dealer so i was just wondering weather to bring it back to him or would it be under waranty with a main dealer so thanks fo the awnser il bring it back to small dealer thanks for the awnser
