Sorry, boards, I'm just extremely annoyed over TheZohan successful trolling Stephentiglig out of boards without pretty much any consequence and the community manager Dav being an unappreciative fatcat to all boards posters.

The guy threatened legal action.

It's standard policy to siteban users who do so.

There was no need for that as the issue was dealt with in his favour in the end anyway.

He was the most inpatient user I have seen post in the helpdesk.

Cricky, I have had issues take weeks to be sorted out and he wanted them done instantly.

The matter is being approached in the appropriate section and by the right people, why are you taking this here to AH if only to further incite, intimidate, etc to your own advantage?

I never said Zohan was right or wrong to do what he did.

Admin cleary found Zohan to be in the wrong in the end and had the guy have been patient, he would have seen that for himself.

His right to reply would not have been removed.

As far as I can see he never gave Admin sufficient time to deal with the matter.

As I said, I have had complaints take weeks to be sorted, he wanted it done instantly.

That's unfair.

The fact the he was sitebanned has zero to do with what happened and so to say Dav supported it is ludicrous.

If you go to Admin and use legalise on ANY matter you will get an automatic siteban, that's been the way for some time.

Dav removed Zohan's Sig and said he found his behavior unacceptable, that is hardly supporting him.

Threatening legal action put paid to the matter.

What's the point, though? You're not going to find another forum quite like this one. These disruptions don't happen constantly. A lot, yes, but not enough to make me bother to quit and search for a new forum.

I have my discrepancies with how stuff's handled here. I don't think a few of the mods should be mods at all and often take very, very biased looks at situations and abuse their admin rights to take the piss out of users. Why this goes unchecked is beyond me, but the bottom line is this-- what the mods do isn't our problem. No matter what we say, no matter what we do, the mods WILL do what they want to do. It's their site. They can do whatever the hell they want, they can ban whoever the hell they want.

Just because boards is so massive doesn't mean we own it. Nor does it mean it's a democracy.

Take the bad with the good; boards has a lot to offer, this doesn't happen constantly, move on. Pick your battles, blah, blah, blah.

Bollox, Pete. The guy's head was spinning from TheZohan trolling him. You know it and I know it. If I'd been online at the time I probably would have PM'd him to stop engaging with the troll. He was banned on a successful troll by TheZohan shoving him into a successful banning loop-hole.
