ps3 woes god damn recession

ok im stuck in a spot guys moneys really tight and i have both major consoles but to be honest i play 360 for everything but ps3 exclusives! should i sell my ps3 for cash and buy a seperate bluray player or hold onto it? any major major exclusives coming that u know about?

A few months ago I would have said yeah but recently the PS3 is getting a lot of play and there's some damn good exclusives on it. You'll end up missing stuff like last gaurdian.

Didn't you just buy one recently? You seem like a very impulsive person, I'd hold on to it, I think a bit down the line you'll be wanting one again and in the long run will end up spending more money.

Realistically and financially speaking, your not going to make much money from selling your PS3 and buying a blu-ray player. Hang onto it.

was thinking that like a blu ray player would cost maybe 130 am i right? and think most i can get for ps3 with 6 games is 350 - 400 newish releases!

normally not that impulsive but did have a ps3 before launch model and sold it as game selection seemed limited but defo want bluray so my 360 lets me down that way!

when i was buying my ps3 i got it for blu ray, god of war, killzone and heavy rain looked class!

love gameplay style of lbp so creative by sony!

so dont think 200 notes is gonna kill me long run.

what exclusives do u guys know coming out in next 6 months!

and yes i agree if i sell it ill prob want it when another exclusive i see comes out!

I think it is an overly optimistic price for the PS3 even with the games.

What are they they now? €300e?

I'd personally just keep it. You can use it as a Blue Ray Player in the meantime and then whenever a ps3 exclusive comes out that you want you'll have the ps3 to play it on.

LittleBigPlanet 2 is one big exclusive I can think of. Not much else is going to get announced in the next few weeks with E3 just around the corner. Wait until then. If Sony's E3 presentation doesn't excite you in any way then consider selling it as that should have all the exclusives that are coming out in the the next 18 months to 2 years.

yes 300 i paid 330 i think and then the games are worth bout 200 new so 400 isnt bad! think ill just keep it now as users are saying lbp2 should be huge and the e3 only around the corner:cool:

I'd say hold onto the PS3 actually. Sell your XBox. The 360 doesn't really have any notable exclusives that I can think of... but the PS3 has things like MGS5, The Last Guardian and a new Castlevania coming up.

Sounds like they've already got their main game collection for the 360 though, wouldn't make much sense to sell it and only be left with a PS3 with 6 games.
I thought 'Vania was multiformat as well?

I'd personally keep it... There's enough on the PS3's horizon to make keeping it worthwhile imo (3D dot heroes and Demon's Souls are next on my rental list)

MGS5 is on the PSP, goes by the heading, Peace Walker.

MGS Rising is multi plat and so is Castlevania.

now how can you make a comment like that? the 360 has exclusives all over the board gears of war 3, alan wake, fable 3, mgs rising is multi and they are games noone can miss!

anyways keeping both now but really selling either 1 doesnt make sense!!

my mind is set now looking forward to squinty eyes and achievements galore lol
