Opportunity For DJ`s/Producers?

I`ve a thread running in the music forum "Bands & Musicians" under the title "Looking For A Record Deal?". I`ve been getting a huge number of email replies to the contact email address that I gave out early on in the thread. Bands and solo artists from the North and from down here have been mailing me myspace links and also a lot of dj`s, hip-hop acts, composers of electronica etc.

My email Inbox has been fairly swamped over the past few weeks so I`m not exactly looking for more replies. But I`ll be posting "leads" that I`ve heard through the music biz grapevine and I`ve posted one today about a New York label looking for underground electronica and mainstream dance. I`ll be posting more over the coming weeks for those of you who may be interested. All the info is contained within my thread and there`s no cost to the artist. If you make a fortune down the road, dont forget to throw me a few quid

I`m not looking for confrontation or garrulous posters, just fresh and undiscovered music talent. I`ve had hundreds of email replies from artists ranging in genre from indie to techno and from acoustic folk to trance. It`s all music to this punter`s ears. I`ve posted some "leads" to labels who are looking for artists in the dance/electronica area and I`ve also had a lot of replies from female singers looking for Tricky-type producers. just to let you know,this is not the way its done with dance music.

producer send there tracks directly to the label via there demo submissions email which is just a google search away.if the label like it they sign it,no middle men until you get big.

this has been the practice for a good long time now and its working fine

were not boybands on here were producrs who know what labels would be interested in our music and we send it to those labels.
