just wondering what the story is for doing this?..My sister who is in the UK is looking @ M/H's.
They seem to be slightly better value here for her budget.(she is looking for an older A class...90->94 reg)

anyway if she was to buy here and thn bring it back to the UK is it the same malarchy as here with unknown VRT etc etc or is it simpler.

    Cheers,
    Marty.

I seem to have stumbled into an alternative universe...... someone wants to buy a campervan here.... and export it to UK? I knew vans had got a lot more "affordable" here lately but....really?

But I have a sneaky feeling that UK van owners wash their vans once a week like their cars and look after them a bit better than we Irish do.

AFAIK it's easy to reregister vans in UK - and no VRT nonsense either.

Seems straight forward alright neighbour here said he was reregistered and had his plates the same morning.

I'd say the chassis in an irish 90-94 would be in better shape everything I've ever see from the uk of that era was held together with underseal and sikaflex.
