Hi, I'm looking for a transformer for a small power supply project. Ideally it would step down the voltage from mains to 24V @ a max current of 4A. If anyone has one lying about or for sale could ye let me know as I'm having difficulty finding one. Looking to spend max €20. Cheers.

Tungsten halogen traffic signals have three 12V 4A mains transformer in each head.
Might be worth a look up the tip from time to time.
