Found this while looking for a easier way of camouuflaging my rifle rather than painting it :)

Have read several reviews on it and all came back praising it...
I ordered a roll of it off ebay (abouit $20 incl shipping) so will test it out and let you know how good it is...
I think you might need about 1.5 rolls to break up the rifle outlines properly as well as I read in one review..

actually mods delete this..i've posted it in the airsoft news so as not to be creating another thread on it..

Not really news, camo wrap and socks have existed for years.....

If you even use different colour tapes and create a DPM pattern, works well for scopes. All you want to do is break up the guns outline

Cheapest and most effective option is to wrap elastic bands around the rifle and then stick bits of leaves and thread through them to break up the gun outline.

have to agree, natural camouflage taken from the environment your playing in is always the best option, the same will gillies the number of times i see someone run with one out of the tin without adding natural material and tailoring it to the area, might as well not be wearing one

As nice as this is, it doesn't quite suit the more rotund airsofter such as myself. I would look like a snake thats eaten a cow.

I prefer to use some rubber bands with leaves to conceal my SSG but Have thought about painting it a few times. Not mad on the tape/camo sock idea.

Scrim net scarfs work well as a base if you cut them into strips about an inch wide and wrap them loosely around the desired area the raggier the net is the more theyll break up the outline its also very easy to attach the local veg to it
