Any ideas of project i can do with my Advent 4211?

    Hey i bought my advent 4211 netbook in August 2008 and the warranty will be out this August and that coupled with the fact that i want one of the newer netbooks as well as want improved battery power as the 4211 standard battery is not great and would prefer to upgrade. Anyways the decision will be made towards the end of the summer of which netbook to get.

    Anyways i dont think i will sell the advent but would rather do something with it. I was thinking of using it as an in car system and get GPS receiver and so forth and use it as a satnav as well as holding my music collection. Thats just one idea i am toying with it.

    Has anyone done a similar in car sytem or any other ideas??

    there are a load of modding projects out there for these netbooks if you google "msi wind mods", guys are adding touch screens and turning them into tablet netbooks and so on. one guy even done wood panelling on his! :rolleyes: i have one of these netbooks myself and once it outlives it's usefulness i'll be giving more serious thought to modding it... :)
