    Hey All,
ok here is my story ive had brace`s on the last 2 years and im ready for jaw surgery with either Cliff Beirne , or Frank Brady , i rang VHI and they told me that the operation is covered but if it is a pre-existing condition, they will not pay for it , i have been paying in to VHI since oct 06 , and think ive had this problem since i was 6 or 7 im 30 this year

is there anything i can do,

    Gareth

I think the best thing to do is to ask Frank or Cliff's secretary. They deal with VHI all the time. They will know what works and what doesn't.

You should be covered but speak with the surgeons or their secretaries. There is usually an addional fee as the private insurers dont cover the full costs but you would need to discuss this further with your surgeon
