Problem purchasing one-day licence from Triathlon Ireland website

    Hi all,
I've emailed Triathlon Ireland with this query, but have not yet received a reply. My problem is that when I try to purchase a one-day triathlon licence on their website, an error "Error: Date error: month must be in 1 .. 12" appears after entering all details and clicking the Make Payment button. When I amend any date fields to a different format, e.g. from YYYY (as requested) to YY, it doesn't allow me proceed and tells me that there is an error specifically with those fields, so the problem isn't here.

I get the exact same error when attempting to purchase using both a laser and credit card.

Has anyone else tried to purchase a one-day licence in the past few days and encountered the same problem?

    Thanks.

The site may use the American dating system of month first followed by day so you may put in 25-05-2010 when the site is asking for 05-25-10. Try this way and might work

Thanks for the suggestion ecoli - I tried it but it still didn't work - exact same error. I also tried to pay by credit card (as well as laser) and receive the same error. Still no reply from Tri Ireland. I'll update this thread as soon as I hear anything as I presume there must be other people who will also be attempting to purchase one-day licences soon.

    You could ring them.

Had same problem with membership. e-mailed them but got no reply.
Obviously if you ignore a problem it will go away!

Update: a lady from TI contacted me yesterday and suggested to try purchasing the one-day licence using a different web browser - I was using Firefox 3.6.3 (which is the latest version). When I used Internet Explorer 8.0.6, it worked fine.

You can usually buy a one day licence at the event registration

That has changed this year. It is now only possible to buy a 1 day licence at registration for aqualathon and duathlons.
For triathlons you have to purchase the one day licence online at triathlon Ireland before 12 midnight on the Thursday before the race and bring proof of this to registration. (a full list of paid licences will be sent to race organisers on the Friday preceding the race).
