I'm going out tonight for a 21st, and I really want to make a statement with my eyes, how should I go about doing this? I have really dark brown hair, kinda greeny, brown eyes?

wear dark eyeliner and dark eyeshadow. it will bring out your eyes and make them look bigger.

With your colouring, purples, pinks, greens and browns would be lovely, similar to the ones in the CG palette below.

I'd recommend using a light pink shimmery shadow all over the lid up to the brow, applied with a rather dense, short haired brush. On your eyelid, apply an olive green with a longer haired brush and blend so their are no harsh lines. In your crease, the area marked with the broken green line in the diagram below, use a purpley-plum shade making sure you blend carefully after initial application to soften the look. To darken the look overall and provide some extra definition, use a small, dense crease brush to apply a more opaque layer of the crease colour to the red area in the diagram. In the inner corners of your eyes, use a cream/white sheer shadow to made your eyes appear wider, and line your water line with white liner from the outer corner to just before the tear duct. Use a brown metallic pencil on your lower lashline and smudge with a sponge applicator and use a liquid liner on your upper lash line, doing a slight flick at the end to may eyelashes look longer and eyes look bigger. Finish off with 2-3 coats of volumising mascara. Fill in your brows with a natural coloured pencil, one shade lighter than your natural colour, and use a highlighter on the brow bone to arch the brow and open the eye. Fix with a little hairspray on an old toothbrush/eyebrow brush.

I've watched some really handy youtube vidoes on how to do eye make up, and they are step by step so worth looking around for one or two...esp for someone who has similar eyeshape/complexion as you
