Address Unknown looked really unlucky last time out and with fitness assured, looks a good bet to win the Group 2 (4.05.... 11/4 with William Hill)

Haven't seen a recording of the race, but it sounds like Midas Touch ran well when winning the Derrinstown. Given that the O'Brien horses have been slow to come to hand this year, I think it's particularly impressive for one to win on his first time out, beating fairly useful horses. That said, I'm not sure exactly how useful the horses behind him actually are...

It will be interesting to see how he goes in the Derby.

I saw it. It was good, but not fantastic.Looked very normal. The front runner was going flat out,was caught by Smullen's horse and Murtagh's just took it up from him, with a bit of work. Reiteration was way back then. I wouldn't go counting group1's on this fella.

The race was a second faster than when Fame and Glory won it last year. Puts Midas Touch well in the frame for both english and irish derby. Certain to improve for this and goes to epsom with a live chance. You could back a lot worse than this fellow.

In terms of trial races, this was the best most truly won so far and anything that impresses more in winning their trial will be vying for favouritism come the big day. I always liked the dante as a trial race and can't wait to see how Cape Blanco fares out in this.

Was up there yesterday and looking at the way they finished the front 2 went a serious gallop(Reitiration was out on his feet crossing the line) With the sure improvement to come from this race Midas Touch will certainly have a good each way shout for the Derby. He stayed on very well towards the finish and i don't think Murtagh was overly hard on the horse.

I'd say Weld's was feelign the ground in the last furlong. His action was very scratchy near the line. would be no surprise if he was a little sore and they were careful on what ground to run him on. Needs some cut I think.

To be fair Midas Touch ran out well in the end. He came from way off the pace coming around the final bend and Johnny pushed the button 2 out. Looked like he was loving it too. He is a great prospect and one they needed with the bad start to the year there having.
