Cannot run cable down wall.....

Hi all,

I am trying to network my house with cat 5, and I am trying to run the cable down the side walls from the attic to the phone point (2 floors, for broadband feed) There is a conduit where I am trying to run this cable as the waste goes down this conduit, there are also other cable ran down this.

The rest of the house I can feed the cable throughh the ceilings OK.

I have tried Wireless but the connection is not reliable enough for streaming and transferring data.

I'm assuming there is a extendable rod to feed the cable down, just wondering does anyone have any other ideas????

Something like this can be got in Maplins if you want it straight away or online like above (although I don't think Screw Fix send to Ireland)

If that is long enough that should do the job, I would suggest that you also run twine or something when your running the needed wire to use as pull lines should yea need/want to run extra cables in the future - will make your life a bit easier should yea need
