It says on peoples profiles on FB for eg 137 photo of X and when you go to see the 137 photo's of X only 37 appear How do I go about doing this to my photos selecting the ones I want to show

It's likely that your friend is tagged in other peoples photographs and their privacy settings prevent you from seeing them.
