hows it going i just got my provisional license which i am very happy about, and i was talking to my uncle today about getting a classic car. haha get this he says "you can have my triumph spitfire 1500". for free.:D it's in great shape too.:p
anyways my question is will i even get insured on it? i'm twenty years old.
i don't mind if i have to pay two or three grand on the insurance as i now don't have to buy a car.
    but will i even get a quote?

Classic insurance may be a problem unfortunately. You have no full licence, are under 25, and have no 2nd car.

if i were to get insured on my mothers car, so i could say that was my main car would it be more likely i'd get classic insurance?

No, as it's not your car. You need to own a main car for classic ins.

you wont get classic insurance being under 25 and you will struggle to get normal insurance , car being over 15.

they may also insist that the car have an NCT.
