Karachi - sniping position cheat or not

Was shot from a sniper on top of the ticket building in karachi ! The four story building with the satellite dishes and aerials on it. Can you get up there, or was he glitching ?

Also is it just me or in every patch/update do they release a little bit more of the maps - It seems every few weeks you come across another place to go or hide that you've never seen before then in a few weeks everyone knows, whereas no-one was ever there before!!

A guy put up a sentry gun on that building which was so annoying

you can counter snipe that building from another building at the end of the main street with the metal box overlooking B point on domination

The worst glitch in MW2 is the wall glitch on Favela at C point on domination, so annoying, thankfully its not that commonly known

Im lost - Where exactly - looking north over point b you see the very badly damaged building, which building from there? Alot have satelites

The one outside the map? course its cheating, anything thats a glitch or getting outside the intended play area is cheating.

Found the ticket building - thats the badly damaged one with the bus (bus ticket) its a bit big to say the least - found nothing on utube - more exploring - in other news i got my 4th nuke In "Rust" yeah baby!!

Well done, not an easy map to get one on given the mayhem on any game u play, I guess getting the initial streak for your (I'm guessing) harrier is the hard part, once and a pavelow/ac-130/chopper are doing the rounds the kills should rack up as theres not many places to hide on it.

Yeah had it in 5mins, went up the rig and got 2 multi kills with a thumper, clamored the bottom of the stairs and shot 3 more, hardest part was not killing myself with the harrier, chopper gunner came out - was expecting to get killed by someone as the ladder was free but no-one came up!

Thats an absolute ton of effort to get to a building that you're very vunerable in, got killed by a guy sniping from out there once and just launched an ATA rocket his way, problem solved. and another guy got him after he used his tactical.

Got as far as the wall - couldnt elevate, took me since my last post too! Can you elevate on ps3? Never seen it happen!

It was this roof area - it isn't outside the map - I got shot at the A flag side and also on the Bus side.

jeffred, I have seen a yoke on youtube to get up there a while back. It involves jumping on the high parts of the ruins of the building Flag B is on and climbing onto another building. Takes ages and perfect timing

I saw a video once of how to get on top of Karachi.

If you know the building overlooking B with the ruined staircase, it's on top of there.

You have to jump on to the four metal poles surrounding B, and from one of those you jump on to the unbroken top of that stairs, and up you wander.

Never ever seen it done in a game thank God. Then again, that jump'd be impossible.

found it on youtube, no elevators or glitches just some mad jumping - the guy really has my respect for doing this during a game of domination. Can I post the video if there is no cheating ?

No this cant be a glitch, there is no glitches imo - These poles just happen to be perfectly spaced and just high enough for someone to jump to leading to a "convenient" Mid point leading to another pole just about the right distance away! Gimme a break "easter anyone" And they aint no glitch if theres a teddy bear there!

Have spent 20 minutes falling off them poles but it defo aint impossible - medium difficulty - But annoying as fcuk

I wouldn't, and as far as I know that's not. Think it's just like a much harder version of the roof camping spot on Highrise.

I think its fine, if you can do it in a game online then dues or in order rights after I scream my head off for gwtting picked off from a guy up there :pac:

I actually have tried this offline and after getting frustrated for a good 10-15 minutes i gave up, the chances of getting up there while playing online in any game mode is rather slim I would reckon as that area with the 4 poles sees quite a volume of people.

LOL, watched a guy try to get to the top of Highrise earlier,I was over on the small building with the big propane tank near it, saw him in his ghillie suit climb up the girder, cross to the building ,make his way along, get up to the high roof, and just as he stopped to light his tactical, thumper grenade. kaboom

Anywhere he went before going outside the map is ok , but as soon as you go outside the map then its considered glitching , like on ambush in cod 4
