iPod Touch Speakers

Is it worth getting speakers for the iPod Touch?

I find the speaker built into the Touch isn't anywhere near loud enough, tbh.
Do separate speakers make a big difference?

It depends entirely on the speakers. If you connect the Touch to crappy 2 Euro shop travel speakers, you'll still be disappointed. I hook mine up to my stereo system, and the quality is as good as a CD.

By the way, the built in speaker isn't really designed for listening to music on - more for games, short YouTube videos and stuff like that. For music, it's no surprise that you'll need decent speakers.
