    Hey all,
Im upgrading my system and have to choose between a few options.

For the receiver its either going to be the Onkyo 507 the Onkyo 308

The speakers i'm considering are the Tannoy SFX the Q Acoustic 1010i or the JBL SCS 178

Would anyone have any advice or recommendations?
    Any help would be appreciated!

Anybody? It would really help me with my decision.

Even if anyone knows ANYTHING about the JBL SCS 178?

The QA 1010'i are officially finished and so are the 507's.
I don't like the tannoy HTS's not all their cracked up to be. the new QA 2010's are very good but unusually finished.
JBL are mostly base, would chose QA's then Tannoy's over them.(IMO)

    Hey there,
I hadn't heard anything so I went ahead and bought the Onkyo 507.

I'm ordering the Q Acoustics today sometime. Thats a shame about the JBL's. Loved the way they looked.
I'll gladly sacrifice that for sound quality though.

    Thanks for the info!
