i've had sky hd since the year dot.
i also have had multiroom for a good while.

i wanted to upgrade the second sub to hd, but sky want 300 for the box, plus 60 for the install. is this correct.

i can buy the box from a reputable dealer for 200 and move the sub over.

i paid 300 for the original box (which seems like full price to me). they say the full price is 500. are they just having a laugh or what?

You might be lucky and pick one up cheap on adverts or ebay. Id really recommend keeping your eye on those sites!

Sky HD boxes go for ~€100 on adverts.ie

Remember if you upgrade your Multiroom box to a HD box and wish to watch the HD channels (apart from BBC HD) then it'll cost you an extra €15 a month!
