Big Ed for Midlands 103.5 has died. I am geuinly going to miss listening to him and Betty fumble through their Sunday morning show. It really was one of constants of my visit's home - conversation around the breakfast table coming to a halting stop while we listened agog to some statement or other coming from the radio.…

Big Ed for Midlands 103.5 has died.

I am geuinly going to miss listening to him and Betty fumble through their Sunday morning show. It really was one of constants of my visit's home - conversation around the breakfast table coming to a halting stop while we listened agog to some statement or other coming from the radio. Dad actually rang me, which never happens - phone calls are Mum's territory - to let me know the sad news.

Sunday mornings at home will never be the same!

Poor Betty.

Next to the 'So' Sony ads the 'Big Ed loves Mona' ads stick out in my mind from the past. May he rest in peace.
