Have never played in a competition. Will be doing so shortly i hope.

This is probably a silly question but was wondering what are the steps involved before and after the round, in terms of using computer etc.

I realise the GUI card is used but i was wondering what info must be entered, is it complicated or easy..

    thanks

It's very simple, before the round select "sign in" on the menu and then swipe or enter your GUI no. in the computer, after the round select "enter score" and you'll be promted to swipe your card or enter your GUI no. and then just follow the on screen instructions.

For singles in our club when you scan your GUI card it registers you, pays the fee (if there is credit on your card) and prints out a sticker to put on the scorecard.

After your round you scan the card again, input your scores and press accept.

Put the card into the scorecard box.

Once you do it once it's fine.

For your first comp just ask someone to guide you through the process, which they should be more than happy to do.

    Enjoy

1 turn up 15 mins before tee time
2 sign into competition by swiping your gui card
3 sign into sheet or book also if required
4 pay money to shop or put into envelope provided
    5 off you go.......
6 practise a few putts, loosen up, ready to rock
    7 swap cards with competitor
    8 burn up 18 holes
9 get your card back from competitor
10 check and sign card if correct
11 back to computer with a big smiley bulb
    12 re-swipe you card
13 type in your score and accept if correct
14 toddle off to clubhouse for a bite to eat or a pint maybe
15 rattle off a few what ifs
    16 off home
17 repeat as often as possible
