    Hi all,

So I'm only 19, but I have proper crows feet and wrinkles around my eyes already. I know this would be better suited to the fashion and appearance forum but didn't want to post registered! Was just wondering whether anyone knows of any creams or anything that could possibly help?

I don't really want to go down the injections route, but I'd love to be able to do something because it's getting horrible to see pictures of me and my friends where I just look much older. Don't smoke and drink lots of water so neither of them is the problem, just unlucky I guess. And it's not that I have a problem with aging or the whole process, it's just that I'm so young now! Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated

hiya. do you find yourself squinting or making expressions that involve squinting your eyes? botox would be the best quick fix as it will freeze that area and has better results on younger skin.you could use eye creams or freeze 2 spoons and place the smooth side on youir eyes, it's great for bags and refeshing your eyes.wear big sun galsses when sunny also

Do you wear heavy make up? This always makes it look worse. Sun glasses is a good idea - the sun will age you much faster.

Some people just have them. When young they dont look old if that makes any sense? The facial structure changes with age, so even if you remove someones wrinkles they still look their age or look "wrong". Witness the botoxed and surgically enhanced 50+ year old hollywood types. So you're still going to look 19 compared to a 35 year old with no wrinkles. As a bloke at 43 I have no wrinkles, crows feet or saggage, genes and all that, yet I dont look 23 or anywhere near it! :D If I was talking to you in a pub and people were watching they'd figure either "dirty old man" or "she likes oul fellas", yet you apparently have more wrinkles than I do. :D You may feel you look older, but I'd put money on it that it's what you think not what other people say or think. Plus a mate of mine had "crows feet" or laughter lines as she called them when she was 16. She still has them but of the women I know approaching 40, she's among the youngest looking.

Avoiding excessive sun is gonna make some difference to skin damage down the line, but AFAIR the majority of UV skin damage as far as aging goes happens before 18 anyway.. Keep doing what youre doing, eat well, dont smoke, keep hydrated and fit and you'll be grand. Trust me in 20 years time you will look back and think "WTF was I thinking or worrying about".

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Tenner bets they´re not half as bad as you think they are, OP. The little "faults" we notice about ourselves are amplified by a million through our own eyes. When I was your age (fado fado...)I used to sit with a mirror propped under my chin and I´d beam a light onto my face and pick out every little thing that was wrong with my skin...I was convinced I had wrinkles... and I look back at photos of myself and I know it was all in my head.

Suncream, a good moisturiser with an SPF, eat a shed load of fruit and veg, don´t start smoking, keep drinking plenty of water, eat lots of nuts and seeds and oily fish like sardines, wear sunglasses and above all, don´t stress about it. Stress will age you quicker than anything else. I bet you look young and gorgeous

And anyone who recommends Botox to a 19 year old girl is completely irresponsible. She´s 19 for crying out loud!!
