    Hi everyone,

I am a good swimmer and am also a swimming instructor and I would like to get involved with a ladies water polo club, i would be a complete beginner, as in I've never done water polo before and am looking to do it more for fun than for competitive reasons, Can anyone point me in the right direction?
    Thanks!!

    :)

I know a lot of the water polo clubs train in the NAC and I know some people involved in the one of the clubs. Fairly sure they have a ladies team or maybe just girls? Can’t think of the club name off the top of my head.

PM me your details if the NAC is close enough to you and I’ll try and dig out details

Thanks Clseeper but Im not really near NAC, it would be about a 40 minute drive and I know it would be too far after a long day in work!

Nope too far as well :(, Im living in South Dublin so Tallaght, Firhouse, Rathfarnham, Ballinteer etc would be ideal.

Half moon swim club have a Polo team, think they have women as well. Not sure. They did practice on sundays in Guinness pool but think they had to stop because of the numbers.

I think they do a session on Fridays now out near Dalkey...

Here is a link to the open sea calender, look out for half moon on it and give Tom Farrelly a ring to ask him about Water Polo....
