Updated I phone on iTunes now locked

    I bought a iPhone 3g 8gig from the north and it was working fine! That nite my friend updated it on iTunes now is it locked:mad: Does anyone know if there's anyway of gettin it unlocked again or is the unlock still not available?!

    Your base band was most likely upgraded to the latest version for which there is no unlock
    if you have the 05.08 bootloader you can downgrade your baseband with fuzzyband which you can get on cydia.
    Only a very limited number of 3g iphones shipped with this bootrom so it's unlikely that you have it, but you might get lucky.

    If you can't use fuzzyband them i'm afraid you are out of luck untill a new unlock is released which could be weeks, months or never.
